- There has been an incresing interest in short films thanks to promotion by sundance.
Weakness
- Film may not relate to another audience.
- Short films are restricted to small audience.
- Subject matter is more aimed at males than females.
Opportunities
- Occurs during something simular e.g The belief that the world will end in 2012.
- Coinsides with a film festival.
Threats
- Big film coming out at the same time.
- Competing with loads of student films.
- As well as full mainstream films.
- Resession, people may have less money to fund a film.
The S.W.O.T analysis gives us the opportunity to find out the Strengths, Weaknesses, Oppotunities and Threats of our films and in turn gives us an impression that our film will be a success or not with the audience, and with our initial idea we can evaluate it through the 4 points.
